First things first...

Please always use a base to create your structural image. Our shipping box is ideal for this. :)

So that you can enjoy your tools for even longer, wash the brushes and spatulas well with water immediately after use.

step 2

Stir the structure paste well with the included wooden spatula and empty the entire contents of the container directly onto the stretcher frame. The amount of structural paste is precisely adapted to the stretcher frame size you choose. Therefore, for a professional result, it is important that you use all of the structure paste. The wooden spatula will help you empty the container.

Schritt 2

Step 4

Now the magic begins!

Design your image with the notched trowel while holding it in place. To keep your hand steady, sit down. You will get the best results by moving the notched trowel slowly so that the structure paste has time to move with it. Return the structural paste that was "removed" with the notched trowel to the container so that you can continue to use it.

Important : Take your time to compose your picture. You have about 30 minutes before the structure paste hardens. Therefore, think in advance about how you want your picture to look in the end so that you don't have to smooth out the structure paste again.

Tip: If you notice that the structure paste is no longer easy to create, wash the notched spatula and dry it well. Now it's fun again!

⏳ Now let the structure paste dry well. Wait at least 12 hours before starting the next step.

Schritt 4

Für den nächsten Schritt benötigst du:

  • mit Reliefplatte gestalteten Keilrahmen auf Unterlage
  • Strukturpaste
  • Holzspatel
  • Pinsel

Step 5

Now you need:

  • Stretcher frame designed with structural paste on a base
  • Acrylic paint
  • Paint brush

Apply the acrylic paint evenly and thinly with the larger brush. To do this, start at one point and work your way from there, as acrylic paints tend to dry quickly. The small brush will then help you to even out any color accumulations and work on the finer details. Finally, look at your image from all sides to make sure no spots have been missed - 3D structures are little beasts ;) .
By the way, it is in the nature of stretcher frames that acrylic paint adheres better to the pure canvas than to the structural paste.

If desired, also paint the edges of the stretcher frame. Make sure to also color the bottom edge and thus the back a little.

Tip: After the acrylic paint has dried slightly, lift your picture away from the surface by carefully holding it at the corners and place it slightly offset. This will prevent the picture from drying on the surface.

⏳ Let the acrylic paint dry thoroughly. Wait at least 1 hour before applying a second coat of color.

We recommend applying a second layer of color to get an even and particularly opaque result. You'll love your painting after repainting it!

⏳ Now let the acrylic paint dry. Wait at least 6 hours.
